Veneto children’s products: what a child needs for sleep

This category brings together everything for a child’s sleeping place: mattresses, pillows, duvets, mattress protectors and beds. It is easiest to choose in this order: first the bed and a mattress that fits it exactly, then the textiles.

Mattress. What matters most is a level surface and a size that matches the cot exactly: the mattress has to fit the sleeping place with no dangerous gaps. The firmness, height and permissible load of each model are given on its product page. All models are in the children’s mattresses category.

Bed. Single models suit a child’s or a teenager’s room; some of them have drawers or a lifting mechanism for storage. See the beds category.

Pillow and duvet. Children’s models carry an age mark on the product page — go by it, and do not carry over the choice of adult products to a child. See pillows and duvets.

Protecting the mattress. For a child’s bed you can choose a mattress protector with a moisture-proof layer — not every model has it, so check the mark on the product page. They are gathered in the mattress protectors category.

If you have individual questions about a child’s sleep or health, consult a paediatrician. For babies, follow the general rules of safe sleep as well.
