Melvin is a loft-style dining table with a finger-jointed oak panel top on four black metal legs, each made of two parallel rods. The slim legs keep the silhouette light, and wood and metal together look contemporary in a kitchen or a studio.
Size 1200 × 800 mm, height 740 mm; leg height 715 mm. This compact format suits everyday meals, breakfasts for two or working from home. The table is fixed, so the top is always even and without joints.
Seven finish options are listed for the top: oil, oil with black patina, polyurethane lacquer, limed, walnut, grey and mocha. Light oak with black legs gives a graphic contrast; dark shades, a calm, deep tone.
Tip: Melvin and Murphy have the same top and size; the difference is the base: Melvin has four legs at the corners, Murphy two frame supports at the ends. If you need a larger natural oak table, take a look at Kodama 1400 or 1800 mm. Warranty: 18 months.
