Jay is a C-shaped side table for those who like to eat, work or read without getting up from the sofa. The black metal frame is open on one side, so the table can be pulled up to a sofa or an armchair; whether its base slides under a particular piece of furniture depends on the height and construction of the seat.
The 450 × 350 mm top is solid oak, height 632 mm. It is a handy place for a cup, a dinner plate, a laptop or a book. The table looks light and takes up little space, so it is easy to move from the sofa to a bed or an armchair.
The combination of oak and black metal suits contemporary, industrial and Scandinavian interiors. In a bedroom Jay can replace a nightstand: pull it up to the bed in the evening and push it away in the morning.
Tip: Jay is for those who want to bring the top closer to themselves; placing it over the seat depends on the construction of the sofa or armchair. If the table should stand beside the sofa rather than over it, take a look at the Bari side table or the small Palmer. Warranty: 18 months.
