Murphy is a loft-style dining table: a finger-jointed oak panel top on two black metal frame supports placed at the ends. The frame supports leave the central part of the space under the top free, which makes the table look lighter.
Size 1200 × 800 mm, height 740 mm; support height 715 mm. This format is convenient for a kitchen, a small dining room or a studio, where the table serves every day both for meals and for working on a laptop. The table is fixed, so the top is always even and without joints.
Seven finish options are listed for the top: oil, oil with black patina, polyurethane lacquer, limed, walnut, grey and mocha. Light shades with black metal give a Scandinavian contrast; dark ones, a deep industrial look.
Tip: Murphy and Melvin have the same top and size; Murphy stands on two frame supports, Melvin on four legs of paired rods. If you need a table that extends for guests, take a look at the Ekholm drop-leaf table. Warranty: 18 months.
