Sheldon is a straight sofa with a calm silhouette and springless filling: it has no spring unit, and the feel of support comes from the foam layers. It unfolds with a eurobook mechanism into a 1600 × 2000 mm double bed, and bedding is stored in the compartment under the seat.
The filling is Ecofoam orthopaedic foam, ThermoFiber polyester fibre and Protect Layer spunbond. The cushions are filled with Hollow Fiber and ThermoFiber and have removable covers.
The armrests are ordered with or without decorative wooden overlays. The overlays are oak, in ten finishes: oil, oil with black patina, PU lacquer, extra-matt lacquer, bleached, grey, mocha, walnut, dark walnut and wenge. The wood adds warmth to the sofa and ties it in with oak furniture in the room.
Seat height 460 mm, seat depth 800 mm. Overall dimensions 2430 × 1100 × 820 mm, unfolded 2430 × 1600 × 660 mm, load up to 110 kg. The frame is solid wood with beech slats. If you need a spring base with the same mechanism, take a look at Nolan or Chester New. Upholstery comes in more than 20 VENETO fabric collections, each in many colours; the price depends on the fabric price group. Warranty: 20 months.
