About Us
A person spends almost a third of their life asleep. At VENETO we have been making, since 1993, the things that make that time comfortable. We began with mattresses. Today VENETO is three factories of our own in Ukraine, more than 300 employees, a representative office in the European Union and a range for sleep and for the home: from the mattress and the bed frame to upholstered and wooden furniture.
The name was not picked out of the air. Veneto is a region in the north of Italy: Venice, Vicenza, Padua, Verona, the Dolomites. It is from there that the technology and the manufacturing experience came that our history began with.

1993
Cherkasy: the first modern production of orthopaedic mattresses in Ukraine
Together with our Italian partner Aldo Arpi we opened in Cherkasy a production the country had not had before: we bought advanced Swiss and Italian equipment and began making modern orthopaedic mattresses in Ukraine.
The Cherkasy factory is still the heart of the group. Mattresses and upholstered furniture are made here, and our own metalworking shop produces frames, sofa transformation mechanisms and bed bases.
The capacity of the factory is up to 4,000 mattresses a month, and the metalworking area covers about 8,000 m².
Developing the product ourselves is a line of work in its own right. VENETO's design department creates new models, furniture constructions and mechanisms, works on prototypes and improves the series production. A large part of the way from an idea and a drawing to a finished piece happens inside the group.
2003
Veneto Italia: into Europe
Veneto Italia S.r.l. was set up in 2003. Today the company represents the interests of the manufacturing group in the European Union and works with European partners and suppliers.
The Veneto Italia office is in Eraclea, in the province of Venice — in the same Italian region whose name the VENETO brand has carried since 1993.
The European direction gave the group access to the international market, to new materials, to technologies and to the professional furniture world.
2016
Bukovynska Lamel: over €4m invested in woodworking
Krasnoilsk in Bukovyna — a few kilometres from the Romanian border. The Bukovynska Lamel factory was built up on the base of the former Krasnoilsk woodworking plant, with over 4 million euro invested in the production.
Today about 70 workers and engineers are employed here, there is a design office of its own, and the range runs to over 400 kinds of product.
The plant has a complete technological cycle: from buying the log and peeling the veneer itself to pressing and milling on five-axis CNC machines. The factory is certified to the FSC standard.
Its products have been supplied to Germany, France, Italy, Austria and the Czech Republic. Among the manufacturing group's customers are JYSK, André Renault and Simire.
The production matters to the local community too. Last year Bukovynska Lamel paid 4.3 million hryvnia in taxes to the budget of the Krasnoilsk community.
2023
Dniprowood: solid oak and ash
The Dniprowood factory in Berdychiv has been working since 2000. In 2023 it joined the VENETO group. We bought a mature production with experience, a reputation and customers, and carried on developing it: we renewed the equipment and widened both the range and the capacity.
Today over 150 workers and engineers are employed there. The factory makes furniture in solid oak and ash, engineered and decorative flooring, and has a design department of its own. Its FSC certificate dates from 2010.
Over the years its products have been supplied to Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Israel.
Dniprowood joining added work with solid natural wood to the group's capabilities. Today VENETO brings together the production of mattresses, upholstered furniture, solid wood furniture, chairs, frames, mechanisms, components and flooring.
Ukrainian manufacturing in Europe
VENETO manufactures in Ukraine and presents the Ukrainian product on the international market.
In February 2025 the company took part in the international B2B fair Meble Polska 2025 in Poznan — one of the key professional events of the furniture industry in Central and Eastern Europe. VENETO showed new models of upholstered furniture, mattresses and furniture in natural oak.
In April 2025 VENETO took part for the first time in Salone del Mobile.Milano — one of the most influential furniture and design fairs in the world. The company was one of 13 Ukrainian brands on the collective UKRAINE.DESIGN.BRANDS stand: hall 5, stands A23–A27, with the Ukrainian exhibition covering 300 m².
In 2026 VENETO represented Ukraine in Milan again, on 21–26 April. In the official Salone del Mobile catalogue the company has a page of its own, showing VENETO products — among them the Trinity bed, the Kodama collection, the Hanko and Eclectica chairs and the Heaven cabinet.
Poznan and Milan continued what VENETO has been doing for over 30 years: manufacturing in Ukraine and taking the Ukrainian product to an international level.
Manufacturing to international standards
The companies of the group work to international requirements and hold current ISO, BSCI and FSC certifications, depending on the production site.
For woodworking plants FSC matters particularly — the international system certifying that timber comes from a responsible source. Dniprowood has held its FSC certificate since 2010.
Certification, modern equipment, design departments of our own and production control let the group work for the Ukrainian and the European market alike.
Up to 20 years' guarantee on VENETO mattresses
A mattress is a product used every day for many years. Depending on the model, VENETO mattresses carry a guarantee of up to 20 years.
We make the mattresses ourselves, we develop and improve their constructions ourselves, and we answer to the buyer for the finished product.
More than 300 people make VENETO
Over 300 people work in the VENETO group today: designers, technologists, engineers, machinists, joiners, machine operators, foremen, quality control specialists, and people in logistics, in the stores and in the offices.
Behind those figures are the professional teams of three Ukrainian factories. About 70 people work at Bukovynska Lamel, over 150 at Dniprowood, and a separate team at the Cherkasy factory and in the other parts of the group.
It is that accumulated knowledge, manufacturing experience and design school of our own that let VENETO not only make series products but keep creating new models.
We work in Ukraine
After the full-scale war began, VENETO kept its production and its jobs in Ukraine and carried on working.
The company pays taxes, supports its employees, helps the Armed Forces of Ukraine and takes part in charitable initiatives and in projects of support and reconstruction.
To manufacture in Ukraine today means more than making a product. It means jobs, professional teams, taxes for Ukrainian communities, support for people, and the chance to represent Ukrainian manufacturing abroad.
VENETO today
VENETO began with mattresses, and products for healthy sleep remain the foundation of the brand. Over more than 30 years the company has grown into a manufacturing group with a range of competences.
Today VENETO means mattresses and toppers, beds and bases, sofas and armchairs, pillows, duvets and textiles, tables and chairs, furniture in natural wood, components and mechanisms, engineered and decorative flooring, and solutions for HoReCa.
In Ukraine there are 26 VENETO brand stores in 16 cities. Over the years the products of the group's factories have been supplied to 13 countries.
From the first modern production of orthopaedic mattresses in Cherkasy to three Ukrainian factories and a place at Salone del Mobile.Milano — VENETO carries on doing what it set out to do in 1993: to create in Ukraine the things that make life comfortable, and to present the Ukrainian product to the world.
